I suppose one of the definite benefits of film school abroad is the chance to network with people from all over the world. Colombia was the result of one such instance. My close friend and talented Cinematographer Andres Hernandez was filming a web series in Bogota and flew me over from Mumbai as his First Camera Operator and Focus Puller. Ernesto Pletsch came in from Los Angeles to be the gaffer. It's always a blessing to work with friends and it feels even more so when you travel the world for it. Extremely grateful to Helena Films who made our stay in Bogota near perfect. Living at the tallest building in Bogota (Bacata) and having a sense of exclusivity since there were 15 people in the whole building was a neat cherry on the cake.

The alleyways of Bogota, the smell of crisp tobacco wafting through the streets is hard to forget.

Cheers to everyone at Helena Films.
